Viele L\u00e4nder haben in der Zwischenzeit die Einreisebeschr\u00e4nkungen gelockert oder gar ganz aufgel\u00f6st. So auch Mauritius, es war nur noch eine Antigen-Schnell-Test bei der Ankunft im Hotel erforderlich. Voraussetzung ist, dass man geimpft ist. Ansonsten muss man 7 Tage in Quarant\u00e4ne.<\/p><p>Die kleine Insel im s\u00fcdlichen Teil des indischen Ozeans ist eine Reise wert. Allerdings muss man sich bewusst sein, dass sie auf der falschen Seite fahren. Die Insel stand u.a. unter Britischer Flagge, daher der Linksverkehr. Wir haben uns f\u00fcr eine Taxifahrt entschieden &#8211; ist viel sicherer. Bei 4 Personen zahlt man ca. 25.00 \u20ac\/Pers. und der Fahrer brachte uns an jeden gew\u00fcnschten Ort.<\/p><p>Die Landesw\u00e4hrung ist die Mauritius-Rupie, in den meisten Touristen-Centren sind die Preise in \u20acuro angeschrieben.<\/p><p>Auf Mautitius herrscht eine Duchschnittstemperatur von ca. 25 &#8211; 30\u00ba C. Die beste Reisezeit ist zwischen September und November, da hat es am wenigsten Regentage. Allerdings sind die Regenschauer meist nur sehr kurz, 5 bis 15 Minuten. Danach scheint wieder die Sonne. Im Landesinneren, auf den Bergen (600 &#8211; 800 m) kann es jedoch mal l\u00e4nger feucht werden.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mauritius#Portuguese_Mauritius\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zur Geschichte<\/a>, die ersten Seefahrer, welche Mauritius kolonisierten waren um 1507 die Potugiesen. Von 1638 bis 1710 herschten die Niederl\u00e4nder auf der Insel. Diese wurden von 1715 &#8211; 1810 von den Franzosen abgel\u00f6st. Von 1810 bis 1968 wurde Mauritius britisch, daher auch der Linksverkehr. Am 12.
